James Pattison Osteopath graduated from the University College of Osteopathy with a Masters Degree in Osteopathy.
Prior to studying, he had been involved in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years, teaching martial arts, nutritional coaching and owning a strength and conditioning gym in Essex.
After qualifying as a personal trainer James progressed into studying sports massage therapy, which enabled him to gain a position at Watford Football Club working with the first team.
This was such an amazing insight into all aspects of elite perforce and rehab. This only strengthened his love of exercise and showed him that, when combined with manual therapy, how effective it can be for all kinds of injuries and chronic pain.
His osteopathic approach is more of a structural based approach and varies depending on each patient and their needs. He likes to combine manual techniques along side acupuncture and exercise/movement based work that the patient can do at home, so that patients can feel empowered and involved in their journey towards a pain-free lifestyle.
Outside of the clinic James loves to spend time with his wonderful family. He likes to keep himself fit with weight lifting, Brazilian Ju Jitsu and is a golfaholic (much to his wife’s dismay!)
